Diablos Announce 2026 USL League Two Technical Staff

The Diablos are proud to announce the coaching and technical staff that will join Head Coach Roy Lassiter on the touchline for the 2026 season. This experienced group brings a mix of professional playing backgrounds, collegiate coaching experience, and sports performance expertise that will help guide the squad throughout the year.

Arick Lassiter — Assistant Coach
Arick Lassiter joins the Diablos staff with extensive coaching experience across the collegiate and high school levels. A former head coach at Louisiana Christian University and previously at Huston-Tillotson University, Lassiter led multiple teams to conference success and postseason appearances during his career. He has also coached at NC State and LSU Alexandria, helping develop players at the collegiate level.

Jose Burciaga — Assistant Coach
Jose Burciaga brings professional playing and coaching experience to the Diablos staff. He was selected 12th overall in the 2001 MLS SuperDraft by the Kansas City Wizards and went on to play professionally in the United States. Burciaga has also served as head coach of the McKinney Chupacabras, adding valuable leadership and tactical insight to the Diablos staff.

Daniel Bermingham — Assistant Coach
Daniel Bermingham joins the Diablos after coaching at the NCAA Division I level. He previously served as an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin in the Big Ten and later joined the staff at St. Bonaventure University. As a player, Bermingham was a three-year starting goalkeeper at Northern Kentucky University, where he was named Horizon League Goalkeeper of the Year and earned First Team All-Horizon League honors. He also gained experience in USL League Two with AHFC Royals and Kings Hammer FC.

Jared Spencer — Athletic Trainer
Jared Spencer will oversee player health and performance as the team’s Athletic Trainer. A sports medicine professional based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Spencer specializes in helping athletes recover from injuries, prevent setbacks, and perform at their highest level through individualized treatment and training programs.

Together, this group will support Head Coach Roy Lassiter as the Diablos prepare for an exciting 2026 season.

Player tryouts for the 2026 season will take place on March 22, and season tickets are now available for fans looking to secure their spot for another exciting year of Diablos soccer.
