Most recently, in 2024, he guided Naples United of the NPSL to the regular season title, a #1 seed in the playoffs and qualification in the 2025 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. Prior to the NPSL, Stewart found success in the professional ranks with the Michigan Stars of NISA, when in 2022 he led the Stars to a NISA Championship victory—a testament to his tactical brilliance and dedication. Not one to rest on his laurels, he followed this achievement with a commendable runner-up finish in the 2023 NISA season, showcasing his consistent ability to foster a competitive edge among his team.

Working up from collegiate soccer coaching roles, he proved instrumental in player development during his tenure at Bates College (NCAA D2) and Dartmouth College (NCAA D1).
