Ben Clarvis Promoted at Texoma FC
After successfully launching the Texoma FC youth academy, the leadership at our neighboring USL1 club have seen what we already knew was a rising coaching star in the making, and promoted Ben Clarvis to Assistant Coach with the first team.
This marks the first member of the Diablos coaching staff to take the next steps in their coaching career and move up to the professional ranks. Ben started as an assistant with the Diablos during our inagural season under Head Coach Chad Rakestraw. Ben was pressed into immediate duty, securing the first road win in Diablos club history, taking the team to Laredo Texas and coming home with the 2-1 defeat as our head coach served his one match suspension for a red card received in the game prior.
Ben successfully guided the Diablos to their second best season in club history in 2024, culminating in a disappointing loss to West Texas FC in the Lone Star Conference Championships this past July.
On behalf of the entire organization, we wish Coach Ben nothing but continued success in his coaching endeavors and can’t wait to see the coaching heights he continues to climb to.
Once a Diablo, always Diablo!
